Worked out the way HMRC does it
For cars and vans, HMRC’s approved mileage rate is 55p a mile for your first 10,000 business miles in a tax year, then 25p. Motorcycles are 24p a mile.
MileKeep applies the right rate to every trip, counts the 10,000 miles across all your cars and vans, and starts again on 6 April.
MileKeep gives you an estimate, not tax advice. Check your figures with HMRC or an accountant before you file.
What MileKeep leaves out
-
No GPS tracking
You add trips yourself, so there’s no battery drain and no request to track your location. Saved routes and Siri keep it quick.
-
No account
Your trips are stored on your iPhone and never sent to us. There’s nothing to sign up for.

No subscription
Logging is free. Export, extra vehicles and home-screen widgets are one payment, not a monthly fee.
