MileKeep — Mileage Tracker
MileKeep applies HMRC’s approved mileage rates to your business trips, split by UK tax year (6 April to 5 April) and by vehicle type. That includes the lower rate once a car or van passes 10,000 business miles in a tax year. The Summary tab shows your total and the rates used.
The figure is an estimate to help you fill in your tax return. MileKeep doesn’t give tax advice, so check your figures with HMRC or an accountant before you file.
No. Every trip counts as Business unless you switch it to Personal when logging or editing it. Personal trips stay in your log but aren’t included in your claim.
Save journeys you repeat as a saved route and log them in one tap. You can also ask Siri to “Log a trip in MileKeep”, or add the MileKeep widget to your home screen.
Logging trips and seeing your claimable total are free, forever. A single one-time purchase unlocks CSV and PDF export, more than one vehicle, and home-screen widgets. It’s not a subscription: there’s nothing to renew or cancel.
Open MileKeep, go to Settings and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy the unlock. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
On the Summary tab, tap Export… and choose a CSV spreadsheet or a PDF report for the tax year. Then send it with Mail, Messages or Files.
No. MileKeep never uses GPS and never asks for location access. You enter each trip yourself, and it’s stored only on your iPhone.
MileKeep is local-first: your trips stay on your iPhone and are never sent to a server. They’re included in your normal iCloud or computer backup, so they come with you when you set up a new iPhone from a backup. You can also save a full copy at any time from Settings → Export all my data.
Go to Settings → Delete all data, or simply delete the app. We don’t hold a copy, so deleted data can’t be recovered. See our privacy policy for details.
